Robert Alberino, Jr. re-joined the Chiefs in 2021 as the Vice President of Content and Production after originally serving as the club’s Vice President of Media and Marketing for four years (2010-13). He enters his eighth season with the club and his 3oth season in the NFL in 2024.

Alberino leads all content efforts, including creation and distribution across the club’s traditional, digital, social and over-the-top platforms. He also oversees all aspects of game production, presentation and entertainment elements at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

The 2022 season was the first time that Alberino oversaw a new division of production which helped launch the team and the brand into new international markets, as well as complete special projects and new long-form concepts. These efforts were delivered with best-in-class content to Chiefs fans in Germany and Mexico, helping grow Chiefs Kingdom overseas as well as expand the NFL’s international fanbase.

In his first stint with the franchise, Alberino oversaw the club’s media partnerships and creation of the in-house production team, 65 Toss Power Trap Productions, as well as the team’s digital operations on Chiefs.com while playing a key role in the club’s marketing initiatives. Under Alberino’s direction, 65TPT garnered the franchise’s first 18 Emmy Awards, as well as became the first NFL club to win a prestigious New York Festival Award.

He spent eight seasons (2013-20) as Vice President/Executive Producer for the San Francisco 49ers between his stops in Kansas City. With San Francisco, Alberino oversaw all marketing, creative and design, as well as the launch and direction of 49ers Studios, the team’s in-house production division. His group created all multimedia and broadcasts across all platforms, while he managed branding, events, social media and new media efforts.

Prior to joining the Chiefs in 2010, Alberino spent 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles (1997-2009) as Vice President of Broadcasting where he helped launch the Eagles Television Network, earning 38 Regional Emmys and more than 100 Tellys and other regional accolades. He spent three years (1995-97) as a filmmaker/producer with NFL Films where he was a writer/director for HBO’s “Inside the NFL.”

In 2012, while with the Chiefs, Alberino was bestowed an honorary enlistment in the United States Army and continues to pay forward the honor by continually working alongside all branches of the military. He sits on the Board of Directors for The First Twenty, a non-profit dedicated to improving the performance, health and safety of the American First Responder.

"Rob Alberino’s presentation is transformational to ANY group. His strategic approach of unique creativity has been utilized by groups from the military to the NFL. In addition, Rob has experienced the lowest of lows and the highest of highs and has insight of how to deal with EVERY situation. Plus, you will hear how his pillars of Empathy, Kindness, Courage, and Trust can be used by every individual and group who hears his presentations."
COL Matt Yandura (retired) - US Army 27 years
"Rob Alberino has been a sought-after speaker to military organizations since 2012.  He talked to us helmet-to-helmet, connecting his Pro Football story to our military lives, and then ours back to him. We’ll never forget him for the honor and respect he showed us, and more importantly, how he made us all feel. No one can read and respond to a room like Rob Alberino—the master of engagement, timing, and delivery. Rob finished his remarks to a standing ovation of 900 aspiring organizational leaders.  After noticing a queue forming near the stage, he stayed another two hours, shaking every hand, sharing a few personal words, and taking pictures within everyone in line.  Rob has the rare gift of making everybody feel like he was there just for them. He is a gifted public speaker + compelling personal story + makes you laugh, cry, and think + Leaves you wanting more = Rob Alberino."
Wil Blackwell, Senior Content Specialist at Van Wagner (Former NFL Employee of 15 years.)
"I have watched Rob speak to a group of 15 and 1500… and in both instances, he owns the room and understands an audience to the fullest. Speaking in front of huge companies like Sony and Salesforce, Intel and other sports teams, his ability to connect with everyone as if the speech was about THEM is what makes him so unique. However, what I find most fascinating is what I have seen behind closed doors when it comes to Rob. He led the San Francisco 49ers organization for 8 years during our all company meetings and times weren’t always rosy nor kind. Losing seasons, social changes, challenging topics, he stood fearless in the place of team leadership and ran meetings with strategy and vision connecting with 200+ employees and often coaches and players who attended these meetings. Rob is dynamic and friendly, empathetic and humorous. He is one in none in my opinion."
