Damona Hoffman is a TV personality, radio host, and certified dating coach, who travels the world speaking about how technology, diversity and self-branding impact professional and personal relationships.

Damona is the host/dating expert of FYI TV (A+E Networks’) ground-breaking new series, #BlackLove and the relationship expert of FYI TV’s newest series to premiere in 2017.

She’s been a guest speaker for Match.com events, a published author, and a writer for The Huffington Post, JDate, HowAboutWe, and numerous other sites and publications. Her radio show and podcast Dates & Mates airs on iHeart Radio, UBN Radio, iTunes, Stitcher and Spreaker. Damona was a finalist for iDate’s Best Dating Coach of 2014 and 2016. Damona was named as one of the top dating experts in LA by DatingAdvice.com, and has made hundreds of media appearances on NBC, Fox, Animal Planet, Sirius Radio, Essence Magazine, Ebony Magazine, Woman’s Day Magazine and more.

Damona’s career began in TV casting at CBS Television. She was also Casting Administrator of Paramount TV and had an integral role in pilot casting for NCIS and Medium. At NBC she also oversaw the casting for comedy and drama series including the pilot of Friday Night Lights and served as Director, Talent Diversity Initiatives for NBC Universal where she discovered and nurtured many of TV’s top young comedic talent.

Damona also held the position of Vice President, Alternative Programming & Development for Syfy where she worked on hit shows including Ghost Hunters, Destination Truth, Scare Tactics, and Paranormal Witness.

However, it was when Damona applied the techniques she once taught actors about personal branding towards dating that she became an online dating success story. In 2003, she met her husband, TV/Film Writer Seth Hoffman (The Walking Dead, House, Prison Break) on a dating site. Others began asking for her online dating secret and for the last 10+ years she’s taught singles how to apply personal branding techniques towards meeting their match.

Damona holds a B.S. in Speech from Northwestern University, a certificate in Producing from U.C.L.A. and coaching certifications from Master Coach University and The International Dating Coach Association
