Business leaders and financial professionals look to Ron Insana for his analysis of the most pressing economic and financial
markets issues of the day. Ron is a pioneer in television financial news reporting. He is currently senior analyst and
commentator at CNBC and also hosts The Market Score Board Report, a daily nationally syndicated radio program. Ron is
chief market strategist at Dynasty Financial Partners, a firm catering to the needs of the investment advisor community. He is
also founder and CEO of The Insana Entertainment Group, a film and TV production company. Ron is author of four books on
investing and reading the financial markets. In his speeches, Ron offers valuable insights on the intersection of Wall Street,
Main Street, and Washington. He translates market signals and political maneuvers into actionable information his audience
can use to navigate change, protect what they have, and spot fresh opportunities.
Ron’s career in financial reporting was a total accident. He had graduated from college with a degree in film production when a
producer friend at the Financial News Network hired him on as a freelance producer in 1984. FNN was the first television
network devoted exclusively to financial news. One day in 1985 the network’s only two anchors got sick on the same day and
Ron found himself on the air for a full eight-hour shift. With that, Ron’s financial broadcasting career was born. When the
Financial News Network merged with CNBC in 1991, Ron became a regular anchor there and a frequent presence on other
NBC News shows.
Ron was named one of the “Top 100 Business News Journalists of the 20th Century” and was nominated for a news and
documentary Emmy for his role in NBC’s coverage of 9/11.
His four books on Wall Street, include: TrendWatching: Don’t Be Fooled by the Next Investment Fad, Mania, or Bubble; The
Message of the Markets: How Financial Markets Foretell the Future–and How You Can Profit from Their Guidance; Traders’ Tales: A Chronicle of Wall Street Myths, Legends, and Outright Lies; and How to Make a Fortune from the Biggest Bailout in U.S. History: A Guide to the 7 Greatest Bargains from Main Street to Wall Street.
Ron is a highly regarded lecturer on domestic and global economics, financial markets, and economic policy issues. Ron graduated with honors from California State University at Northridge.
For the first time in decades, regardless of which political party wins, the White House, Washington and Wall Street might find themselves at odds over critical economic policies. This situation potentially places Main Street in a difficult position. On one side, there are proposals for across-the-board tariffs and mass deportations; on the other, there are capital-damaging tax hikes, and both sides are proposing deficit-increasing budgets. The federal government may wield more influence over the economy than a “friendly” Federal Reserve for the first time in years.
The first year of a new presidency always brings uncertainty, and 2025 will likely be no different for markets, the economy as a whole, and, perhaps more importantly, for specific sectors and regions that could be affected by upcoming policy and political changes. Ron Insana outlines the potential for profits and pitfalls, risks and rewards, and gains and losses in the year ahead – domestically and globally. What happens in 2025 may well shape the economy and markets for decades to come.

How can you protect what you have and find new opportunities in this investment climate? Every day the world’s markets are speaking — shouting, really — boldly predicting the future. In fact, they are reflecting information not yet revealed to the general public. In ancient times, investors and merchants met to buy and sell goods – and to exchange information and gossip. This information is reflected in the prices charged for those goods, whether it was news of war in a far-flung region that will cut off the gold supply or a crop failure that will make wheat scarce. Today, tradable securities are the proxies for goods and services and act in exactly the same fashion. In order to understand what the markets are saying, you have to know how to listen to and interpret the messages they are sending. In this talk Ron Insana shows audiences how to understand the signals put out by the markets, and protect their economic future.
Navigating the post-Coronavirus world will continue to be a whiplash-inducing experience. The new technologies and medical breakthroughs that are coming will make things even more challenging. 5G, AI, robotics, machine learning, regenerative medicine, and more are all racing towards us. Soon, mountains of data will come more forcefully than ever, changing even further what is possible in business. The biggest change of all is how quickly new technologies become ubiquitous. Ron looks at the most impactful new technologies and the impact they’ll have. They include experts who are already working on creating human organs from stem cells printed on 3-D printers…and researchers working to stop the aging clock altogether. Experts believe that among millennials, the first person to live to 150 has already been born. Are we ready for that future?
