Adam’s keynotes leave audiences inspired to change with practical tips, ideas and provocative thinking.
After earning his law degree from Manchester, Adam began his professional career as a Barrister and he remains associated with Red Lion Chambers, one of the UK’s largest and most prestigious sets with over 100 barristers including 25 King’s Counsel and 16 Crown Court Recorders. Adam took time out of a legal career to serve as a police officer with the Metropolitan Police, 4 of those years on the covert teams including robbery, gangs and drugs. Adam received several commendations for his work.
His leadership career includes large and small organizations culminating in his role as a Partner in the London office of Heidrick & Struggles where he continues to work with leaders from organizations such as UBS, GSK, Google, Microsoft, Rolls-Royce, Merlin Entertainments, Coca Cola, Tottenham, Hotspur FC and Mastercard to name a few.
Adam brings a compelling perspective to the sought-after topics of leading in uncertainty, leveraging the human qualities in a world of AI and uncovering the DNA of the world’s most successful leaders.
Adam has contributed his expertise to a wide variety of media. He was an opinion columnist for CEO World and is a regular keynote speaker and guest on other podcasts sharing his research and experiences.
Adam has twice been invited as the dinner keynote speaker to the Cambridge University Global Executive MBA cohorts addressing leaders from across the world. He also continues to support the amazing charity Leadership Through Sport & Business that prepares and supports bright young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds into meaningful roles with major firms. Adam dedicated Episode 200 of the podcast to the charity which was filmed in front of a live audience.
