Scotty Mac Band

Founded by lead singer Scott McLaughlin, The Scotty Mac Band is a 4 piece, high energy, contemporary country music band functioning as a support act for national artists as well as a cover band in some of the finest country bars in Southern California. 

Messin’ Around, Scott’s six song EP, was released in June 2015 and can be found on iTunes. With over thirty years of seasoned musicianship this professional and dynamic band will get your audience pumped and on their feet. 

Band members include Scott McLaughlin, lead male vocalist and guitar; John Geiger, drums and percussion; Andy Hill on bass guitar and back-up vocals; and Bryan Karijanian on electric guitar.

Singer and songwriter Scott McLaughlin was raised in a small, Southern California town surrounded by dairy farms, ranches and rodeos. He spent his days listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Allman Brothers Band on the radio. His passion for country took off like a rocket after receiving his first guitar as a gift from his father at age 13. Heavily influenced by Garth Brooks’ album “In Pieces” and Fleetwood Mac’s “The Dance”, Scott began writing and perform his own music in high school. After graduating, he moved south to attend California State University Long Beach as a business major. While he worked on his degree, Scott continued to hone his music and vocal talent forming several bands and actively performing throughout Southern California. Fronting his self-titled band, The Scotty Mac Band, Scott has released a six song EP, Messin’ Around, that stylistically blends the pop hooks and driving sound of contemporary country while retaining the story telling and instrumentation of the classic country roots he grew up on. His music is heavily influenced by artists like Luke Bryan, Tim Mcgraw, Ronnie Dunn, Jason Aldean, and Blake Shelton.
