Dr. Evans serves as Partner and Chief Economist at Thorberg Collectorate and President of the collectorate’s Regional Economic Advisers division. Thorberg Collectorate is an industry-agnostic private equity firm bringing alternative investments to a growing Oklahoma investor base. As the Collectorate’s chief economist, Dr. Evans closely monitors national and regional economic conditions to inform the firm’s investment thesis. The collectorate’s Regional Economic Advisers division consults regularly with municipalities, financial institutions, and industry groups. Dr. Evans previously held a position as a professor of economics at Oklahoma City University and served as interim dean of the Meinders School of Business and executive director of the Economic Research and Policy Institute.
