PG-Rated Corporate Laughs

Carol Leifer is a clean comedian and proud of it! After 25 appearances on The David Letterman Show, she is used to making people laugh without the use of cursing and f-bombs, totally HR safe! Carol tells her story about being a kid on Long Island, dreaming of one day making it big like the comedians her dad watched on TV shows and specials. “The laughter that rang through my house was such an inspiration for me to go into comedy,” she says. Her journey from being one of the only women on the comedy circuit starting out, the trials and tribulations that she faced and conquered. Segueing to her first comedy writing job on the legendary Saturday Night Live, then moving on to write for the iconic Seinfeld, hers is a tale of determination, grit and gusto. Still going strong thirty years later, as the Co-Executive Producer of the Emmy-winning HBO show Hacks, starring Jean Smart, and producer of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Carol’s tale of hard-won achievement is one for the ages. Her many stories interfacing with legends and the lessons she learned along the way are priceless! Your group will be inspired, entertained, and leaving confident that dreams do come true with just the right amounts of perseverance and positivity!

In this fall-down-funny keynote, Carol describes why she’s been a 30-year mainstay in the male-dominated world of Live Standup and Television Comedy. Her experience is unrivaled as a comedian (25) Letterman appearances, a 40-episode writer on Seinfeld, as the current Co-Executive Producer of the Emmy-winning HBO show Hacks, starring Jean Smart, and writer/producer of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Carol takes you behind the scenes of how she navigated disruptive obstacles (and egos) along the way. Your attendees will find Carol’s grit and gusto to be indefatigable, inspiring, and hilarious! Attendees will go home with an easy-to-implement roadmap for developing more confidence and direction in their careers.

GGG Demolition, Inc. (Women In Construction)
This was one of my favorite presentations in all the years we’ve been booking speakers! Carol brought down the house with her energetic humorous style. Her blend of storytelling and comedy was truly memorable. Carol gave our group valuable tools to take with us every day, managing all different types of business situations, and did it with lots of laughs. She was simply fabulous!!!
The Schechter Day School
Carol Leifer headlined at our annual scholarship dinner. She had an amazing ability to connect with the audience through her humor. Leifer gave us exactly what we were looking for with clean humor combined with real life stories about her own fascinating life in comedy. Whether you were 25 or 85 you could appreciate Leifer’s take on life and growing up on suburban Long Island.
Joint Action Committee - Chicago
Carol Leifer was a wonderfully, funny guest speaker. The group seemed to enjoy her humor and stories. She spoke from her heart about the importance of women’s rights and our freedom of choice.
Jewish Federation of Pittsburgh
Carol spoke at our nonprofit’s annual Thank You Event. The audience was completely wowed by her wit and poise. Everyone who attended provided glowing feedback. She was personable and friendly, interesting and, of course, hilarious. Considering the event’s purpose was for us to demonstrate our gratitude toward our donors, inviting Carol to address the crowd was a perfect “present.” The only negative from her performance is that we’ve set the bar high for next year’s event!
Howard County Chamber of Commerce - Maryland
Carol Leifer was GREAT! She was absolutely hilarious and a big hit with our hard-to-please group. We've received a lot of compliments and she was very gracious to all of our guests, especially at her book signing after her program which was also a great success. She could not have been nicer or more fun. I highly recommend Carol Leifer if you want a fun, CLEAN evening of humor from a woman who has blazed a trail in comedy.
Women Leaders in Law Enforcement - Sacramento, Ca.
I want to thank Carol Leifer for her tremendous program at our Women Leaders Training Symposium. She is so gifted and funny - a perfect fit for our audience! We also appreciated greatly Carol's donating the profits from her book sale afterwards to our organization. Very generous and much appreciated!
PFLAG
Carol isn't just a comedian, she's a rock star! Nobody gets an audience going like Carol Leifer. Carol has energetically appeared at many of the events I've planned for both The Human Rights Campaign and PFLAG over the last couple of years and she consistently not only brings down the house but also gets people to open their wallets! Book her and you are guaranteed to have a successful event.
Susquehanna University, PA
Carol Leifer gave the commencement speech at this year’s graduation ceremony. She is the only speaker in memory to receive a standing ovation from our graduates. Carol struck a chord, not only with the wisdom of her advice, but with the power of her personal story. I can attest how meaningful that was to many of our faculty, staff, and families. She set the bar very high for all future speakers.
